Wow, the Magna Carta is for sale. The document written to protect the freedom of people is on the auction block! I wonder what condition it is in?
Mary – I too am glad it is only the paper which is for sale and not the freedom we enjoy.
Some things really don’t change!
David Rubenstein bought the Magna Carta tonight for $21.3M. It’s staying where it belongs- in the National Archives.

Very interesting post. I wonder what the people who wrote that document so many years ago would think if they could see the way our government is run today. Nice title too. Catchy.
