Bob- it is close to DC. But it is a bold move on the builders part. It's at the edge of Shirlington and Nauck a neighborhood with its history as one of the first neighborhoods settled by the first freed slaves after the civil war. Rich in black history that the county is trying to preserve while rejuvenating with a new town center and other development. Right now, the neighborhood is a mixed of old, new and commercial. But Arlington has plans- and their plans usually work out.

Terry- There is new construction and pre-construction. There isn't even a model for people to see- so they are going to buy on faith until some of the townhouses are built over the next few months. But Stanley Martin is a committed builder to the area. They usually do a good job.

Erin- It's going to be a fabulous addition to the neighborhood. Such an improvement to what came before it.

Mary - Shirlington Crest at Nauck sounds like a great neighborhood. And you really sound like you are on top of what's going on there. I took a quick look at a map and it seems like this new town home community will be really convenient to the Washington DC area. I'll be sure to let anyone I know who is moving up your way to contact you about this.

Mary,
You really are staying on top of Arlington and Shirlington Real Estate- beating the sales rep to the sale trailer, that's great! And so right too on your 2nd point, Buyers ALWAYS need a Buyer Agent. Don't they need to walk in with you the very first time? Unfortunately less experienced buyers don't realize that until it is too late and they are in a fight. Terry McDonald- your guy in Charlotte NC:)

Sounds like there's a lot of excitement swirling around this development. Can't wait to see the finished product!
