I swear my car is a nail magnet. I pick up one about once a month. It seems it always happens only when I have a client in the car. It’s become a joke in my office. I’m happy to know I’m not the only one!
Mary – this was an excellent insight in the day of a dedicated “full-time” real estate professional like youself. You left out how you probably go home after it’s “dark” and research more homes for clients and set up showing for the next day and write info about local neighborhoods and…- Great post, Cyndee Haydon
Jack: You know it well- go to a construction site- get a nail. Lucky for me- I didn’t have any clients with me at the time.
Cyndee: Can you see through my computer? That’s exactly what I was going tonight!
When it rains it pours, and looks like Northern Virgina Real estate is taking off again! Happy Days! Great post on the rigors of daily broker life, many think we are on the couch 25 days a month…I grew up on the Maryland side… moved to Charlotte in 1993, see you on the vine, Terry
Well Mary Cyndee beat me to it….I was going to say that you left out during all of that, the need to find time to blog! I know you are, but be thankful your busy. Thanks fo reminding me to check on my AAA coverage!
Hi Mary,
I agree with you about needing to see a house in daylight before you really “know” the house and neighborhood, but in the seller’s market we’ve had for so long in Canada, waiting till the daylight could make the difference in getting an offer in. Multiple offers still common in our market!
I like the look and feel of your blog, it is uncluttered and informative, and your photos are extremely professional. Your blog “makes sense” the reader can see what you’re doing and why.
I’ll be visiting often!
