You Just Never Know What the Camera’s Eye Sees
August 28th, 2007 Categories: Pentagon City, The Road Less Taken
I was taking pictures in the metro on Friday while waiting to for the blue line downtown. I wanted to see just how good my new digital camera really was. The metro is known as a good photography subject because of all it’s lines and symetry.
I didn’t see what I captured in this shot until I got it home and loaded it in my computer and saw it on the big screen.
I wonder if you can see what I see…everything is moving except for the metro map and the gentleman next to it. It’s an illusion because the metro map, along with the gentleman walking next to it is really on the platform on the other side of the station.

Hi Mary,
I think your Metro Picture is really beautiful.
I’m thinkig to use it to design a poster for a dance-theatre festival in Florence (Italy) and I’d like to ask you your authorization.
Please let me know if you think I can use your picture.
Kind Regards,
Simone Falteri
